Initial Consultation
15 Minutes-Free
This is the first step in which we will chat to make sure I am the right therapist for you and give you a chance to ask questions before scheduling an intake session.
-
Initial Evaluation
60 Minutes-$250
In your initial session I will ask questions about your history, what life is like for you right now and what goals you want to set. We will go at your pace and your comfort level. This session allows me to get a full understanding of your needs and how I can help.

A note about insurance…
I am an out of network provider which means that clients pay my fee to me directly and then can seek reimbursement from their insurance provider. I recognize that therapy is time and money that you are investing in yourself. If your insurance offers out of network benefits (typically PPO plans), you may be reimbursed for a portion of the cost of therapy. In this case, I will provide you with a monthly statement or “superbill” for you to submit to your insurance company.
Questions to consider asking your insurance company:
How much of my deductible has been met this year?
What is my out-of-network deductible for outpatient mental health?
What is my out-of-network coinsurance for outpatient mental health?
Do I need a referral from an in-network provider to see someone out-of-network?
How do I submit claim forms for reimbursement?
Good Faith Estimate
Effective January 1, 2022, under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act (the “No Surprises Act”), you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of how much your medical and mental health care will cost.
Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.
You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
